Welcome Back! I missed you all!

It's that time of the year again! We have all had a wonderful break and it is time to get back into our school gear, meet all your teachers and friends and get yourself ready for some new experiences.

This year in Art class, I have a lot of creative and funky ideas lined up. We will do mosaic, acrylic painting, print making and maybe even glass painting. So guys get ready to be CREATIVE!

Welcome back... I missed all of you and can't wait to meet you all.

Grade 5 - 3 grounds in any painting

The Three grounds -

Foreground - What you draw in the front - the face, the person, the main or primary focus of your picture. This is the most detailed part of your picture.

Middle ground - the mountains, the sea or anything you are adding to add value to the picture but is not the focus. Less detailed than the foreground.

Back ground - the last and back most part of your picture, usually the sky or blank space. Still needs to be given some thought as to which colour and shades.
